People of all ages who are more connected to nature report better social, psychological, and physical well-being. How connected are you to nature?
The secret to health, spirituality, and happiness
It’s easy to see nature as something outside our human-based extensions. After all, it looks very different than us. Nevertheless, nature is the most important of your extensions. You simply can’t live without its air, water, and nourishment. This food you eat will literally become you. Do you ever pause before devouring your meal to reflect on that? This air, water, and food are your indispensable connections with Earth, and from there to the sun and the universe. When you disconnect who you are from Earth, you disconnect from the universe, and you will be left behind suffering the tension of its forward movement.
You were grown from this Earth for the ultimate purpose of bringing nature to the rest of the universe, and if you sever your relationship with nature, you will never discover your Purposehood. You will deprive yourself of the chance of receiving happiness, success, and fulfillment.
The fact is that you can never physically disconnect from nature; you only disconnect intentionally or unintentionally through your thoughts, only to diminish your view of existence. On the other hand, when you choose to bond with nature through Earth (land and water), air, plants, animals, and the universe, you open yourself to limitless expansion. The more you are aware and connected with all your nature components, the wider your “I” is.
